ActUp is an acting group which encourages confidence and active imagination amongst people of all disabilities. Through performance, an outlet is created which allows people with both physical and intellectual disabilities to explore the creativity of their minds in a safe space.
What is ActUp?
Through teaching improvisational drama skills, including flexibility, decision making, and imagination, actors of all abilities experience the fun of performance and improvisation.
The lesson duration is 50 minutes, located at the Stirling Community Centre every Sunday afternoon. Each lesson includes a warmup, skill development and games. With a minimum of 10- 12 people per session, all actors get to bask in the spotlight and enjoy the privacy and attention of a small class.

What do we offer?
ActUp offers a variety of programs, ranging from FUN weekly improvisational lessons and holiday programs. ActUp is open to adults & children aged 12+.
- Weekly Improvisation based classes, where Actors create their own stories through FUN drama games
- We teach the basics of performance, such as characterisation and acting techniques
- Amazing Holiday Workshops for adolescents aged 12-17
- We help build actors confidence, imagination, and creativity through promoting individual self-expression
- We are also looking to expand into offering musical theatre workshops!
